Programme Outline

Self - Awareness

This module will provide learners with the knowledge and skills to self-reflect, understand emotional intelligence, personality types, alongside this, you will learn all about various learning styles, and how to maximise these to improve your own performance.

Empowerment

Personal empowerment means taking control of your life. It is about more than just feeling able to do so, though this is an important element. True personal empowerment requires you to set meaningful goals to identify what you want from life, and then take action to achieve those goals and have more impact over the world around you.

Leadership

The module aims to support the participants to realize their role as leaders for more sustainable future and to help them to learn what the common, global values are.

Fulfiment

What determines happiness and fulfilment in life? This is surely one of life’s biggest questions, and a question that has interested many of our ancestors. Several Greek philosophers (from Aristotle to Epicurus and Plato to Socrates) had their own views on what it takes to be happy. And of course, we all have our own theories about happiness too. By the end of the course, I expect students who have been diligent with the lectures and exercises to not just gain a deeper understanding of the science of happiness, but to also be significantly happier.
